My name is Daniel Esparza, Art is my absolute passion! I grew up in one of the most bizarre cities in the America, “Compton,” California. I drew growing up because it felt safe; anything outdoors was risky and dangerous. I never thought I’d turn into work in the future; I just did it because I enjoyed the way it made me feel. After leaving Compton mid high school years, I saw the world in a very different way. My entire life I was convinced the world was violent and chaotic, very opposite of my personality. It took a long time to recondition my mind to see and understand things from another perspective. Today, I’m 41 years of age and I have to say, I’ve managed to put myself in such great environments with beautiful people that have become my new positive friends and family!
